“Le Velo” is a series of ten 11” x 14” prints (Image is 9” x 12” with 1” borders) created using the reductive or elimination method of linocut. 

This bike is somewhere in Paris living its best life. I spotted it in 2025 on a blistering hot day outside of Shakespeare & Co. It was that little flowered shower cap protecting the seat that caught my eye. It’s a reminder to slow down and take in life’s little details.

Note: While the prints are all made from the same piece of linoleum, they contain variations in color and precision. This particular print has so many layers that I actually lost count.
