The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.

SOLD OUT!

Well, sort of….I mean, they were free after all….

A million thanks to everyone who requested a box. All 30 boxes are spoken for.

If you requested one, keep an eye on your mailbox!

This Box is for Good is the brain child of Lisa Chandler and Peter Rukavina. They call it a “an art project, and a generosity project. . . . an experiment in collaboration, printmaking, design, gift giving and receiving (and patience).”

I learned about this project when it was featured in Issue 26 of Pressing Matters Magazine, a UK publication that celebrates the art of printmaking. I am so grateful that Lisa and Peter allowed me to be a part of it.

The idea is simple:

1. Request a box.

2. Receive your box.

3. Register your box.

4. Enjoy your box for a bit.

5. Choose someone you want to delight and fill the box with something special.

6. Hand deliver or mail your box to them.

7. Encourage them to repeat.

The Old Dockton Press presents to you a 30-box series of a three-block print using oil-based ink on cardboard:

“Tinned Fish”

Get one before they are gone.

How far will YOUR BOX go? Yet to be seen!

BE A PART OF A MOVEMENT THAT ONLY BRINGS JOY . DO IT. REQUEST A BOX. ITS FREE (and comes with only a joyful task). YOU WON’T BE SORRY.
