About the image:
“The Mix Tape” is a limited series of eight 11” x 14” prints created using the reductive or elimination method of linocut. This print was inspired by amazing industrial design and a deep love of analog objects.
Listening to the radio on your boombox for your favorite song and hurrying to press play/record. Creating a hand-lettered playlist to slip in the plastic case. Turning the spool with a pencil to get that crinkled ribbon back in the tape after it was inexplicably eaten by your Walkman.
A homemade gift from your best friend.
The original playlist.
